There's TOO MANY reasons of why Brazil celebrates Carnival - some of the answer I find on the internet don't even seem legit. How do I know which one the answer is?

Stampy: Also, for question 5: many sites say Carnival starts 17th Feb (5 day before Ash Wed) and other sites say 18th Feb (4 day before) - will both answers be accepted?

Ren: For the reasons why it is celebrated, I put the reason as to why it's mostly celebrated everywhere else in the world.

Virtuoso: for question 4, please refer to the answer I gave to vplus on Kennen's post. For number 5, if you put in your source, date of beginning of the particular carnival (please state that also) and then the amount of days, then you should be safe.

when you say /quote '5. How many days before Ash Wednesday does Carnival start?' which Carnival is this referring to? until stated otherwise I'm assuming its referring to Lasunis Carnival.

Virtuoso: If you put the beginning date of the carnival you refer to (Maybe mention which carnival you are referring to also,) then you should be safe

vplus: Also the 4th, it does not celebrate only ONE think, I am Brazilian, I don't know and I can't even find it on google =(

Virtuoso: vplus, I have been accepting multiple answers for number 4 as I am aware that it has such a large amount of answers.

Do we have to send it by "February 25" in UK time, or Australian time?

Virtuoso: Preferably AU time. I will be writing up the winners some time on the 26th AU so if you send it in before say 6am on the 26th AEST, then I will be lenient.
